Scoring

Throughout the season both teams must supply a scorer for every game. This means that all parents are likely to be asked to score at least once during the season. The coaches will usually organise and send out a scoring roster at the start of the season.

The scorers from both teams must sit together at all times. The home team (first named on the score sheet) is required to complete the score sheet. The away team (second named on the score sheet) is responsible for the score board.

If there are any discrepancies between the score sheet and score board, the score sheet takes precedence.

Coaches must ensure that any fill-in players from other Bimbadeen teams are added to the score sheet including age group and section.

Captains, scorers and umpires must all sign the score sheet at the end of the game and then the umpires will return the score sheet to the office.

Please take the time to familiarise yourself with the Scoring Guide and ByLaws below and speak to the team coach or a committee member if you have any questions.
